Craftsmanship
Made slowly, by a single pair of hands.
Woven on a high-warp loom by a single artisan, with the design read from a hand-painted cartoon placed behind the warp. The linen is spun in small batches, dyed in cold-water vats, and beaten down with a wooden comb to achieve the dense, slightly sculptural surface that distinguishes Portuguese atelier weaving.
