Craftsmanship
Made slowly, by a single pair of hands.
Every cord is hand-twisted before knotting and worked entirely without machine assistance. The artisan ties square, half-hitch and Josephine knots in slow sequence, finishing the lower edge with hand-combed fringes and a brass-pinned upper bar concealed within a cotton sleeve.
Care & Preservation
For the years ahead.
Hanging
Suspend from the brass bar with two discreet wall hooks; allow the fringe to fall freely.
Cleaning
Shake gently and dust with a soft brush. Spot clean only with cool water.
Storage
Roll loosely and store in a breathable cotton bag.
Preservation
Re-comb the fringe periodically with a wide-tooth wooden comb to restore its line.
